Slow site issue - SOLVED

Since joining CC / CT I've experienced slow to load pages both on this site and on a few others, most notably eBay.

Sifting through my logs I decided to try something tonight and it has made a world of difference. All site pages - and all eBay - now open instantly as befits my 76 Gb fibre connection.

Now this fix won't apply to everyone, especially if you use Netflix to download streaming content, but for everyone else .....

Uninstall Microsoft Silverlight

Most likely you didn't install it per se, it downloads as part of Windows update (so you'll need to be selective on future updates)

Unistall it then reboot your computer
