GB stickers

hi All

as i live in Kent we see loads of caravans  and motorhomes going down the motorways to Dover and the tunnel, today i saw a caravan being towed with no GB sticker on it yet on the 4X4 had one that was brand new , i have never towed in France and i am going
for the first time in June ,i did think that you should have a GB sticker on your car and caravan am i right in thinking this. Dave
