hi viz jackets for france

Hi All. there was a thread about hiviz jacket here some one was saying that the french do not carry them in there cars. i for the first time this year week france for a holiday. i brought all that the french law says you need to carry in your car, i have
left my hi viz jackets in my car and was very gladi did, today while traveling home to our village there was a motor bike accindent , as we wre second on the scene my wife helped until the ambulance had taken the person to hospital. i was turning all the traffic
around as the road was blocked . i for one am very glad for my hi viz jacket it keep me very safe , so well done france maybe we should make it law here too ?
