New motorhome travelling Europe

Hi...I will be travelling Europe from next month for a year with my partner and 8 month old Jack Russell. We are planning to visit France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary?, Slovakia, Poland and Germany. As we are
new to motorhoming any advice would be gratefully received re kit, tips and tricks :-)
