I see that Stephen Hester (he who ran RBS after the financial crisis, amid a series of rows about bonuses, until he quit / was pushed out with an enormous pay-off) has hit the jackpot again.

He moved to Royal Sun Alliance, where he was paid £950,000/year plus £250k pension payments and a car allowance of £40k.

He was also given a shed load of shares.......and has now recommended that a take-over by Zurich go ahead. If it hapens, he will receive a year's salary for leaving and they will buy his shares......for a cool £7.5 million....after 18 months in the job.

How do you go about getting these jobs? Undecided

(incidently, it's likely that 3,000 employees at RSA will lose their jobs if the take-over goes ahead......but that's just business, eh?)
