Stopover site near dunkirk

We need a stopover close (ish) to Dunkirk for our return ferry crossing.  We are travelling from Normandy (with children) and dont want to be paying £40+ just to arrive around early evening and to leave at 7am the next morning. 

We dont mind being 30mins from Dunkirk. Any recommendations?
