M62 services alternatives

We'll be needing to make a break at some point between Birch and Hartshead Moor but aren't so keen on either of those services.  We haven't found them especially tourer friendly in the past.

Can anyone think of anywhere just off the motorway that would make for a decent rest stop.  No need for facilities really - just somewhere to park
