The fact that my battery has been fully recharged by 9am so far and a full day of generation has been 'wasted' has been bugging me 
So I've been having a think about what would be useful and what could connect to the output from the controller to maximise energy production and I've come up with building a powerpack
I've ordered one of these and one of these. The plan is to charge this during the day.and then use it to power our USB devices when out and about and in the evening (we use ipods and tablets a lot)
Reckon it will work? I'll give it a try anyway and report back
