Hook up amps allowance

Hi there,

we have just got our first motorhome and have never used a hook up before, I understand that your can only pull the amount of amps available otherwise you will trip the breaker and to get this you divide the total watts of each electrical item by the volts
it runs on, my question is do you have to include any 12V items or are they being run by the leisure battery which in turn is being charged by the charger so it is actually the amps of the charger you take into account,
