Hi fellow tourers - I am new to the discussion forum but both my husband and I are CC members and currently own 'old Bess' - our 25 yr old Elddis 400 Autoquest motorhome and previous to that, toured in a caravan.  Unfortunately, we are not yet amongst the
ranks of the retired but try to squeeze in as many touring opportunities as time will allow around work commitments but were fortunate enough to have been to Morocco a couple of years ago.

Having recently converted the van to run on LPG as well as petrol, we are now looking forward to making a return to Europe and have decided to go Dover to Dunkirk.

We thought we'd visit Dunkirk and take in some of the history (most notably as it's the 75th anniversary of the evacuation) and then drive into Belgium before visiting Lake Constance (Bodensee) Germany; Fussen; Eagles Nest and possibly venture into Salzburg.

Any advice on visiting these countries in respect of low emissions; go boxes; motorway tolls; breathalizers etc would be most welcome.
