Loose connection in 13 pin plug
Help please! I appear to have a loose connection in my 13 pin plug (male). When connected to the car a slight movement of the cable causes the nearside caravan lights to go on and off. I have investigated the socket on the car and all appears in order but
I cannot find a way to 'open' the plug attached to the cable from the 'van to check the connections there. It appears to be a sealed unit. There are no openings to push in a screw driver to release it and I have tried to peel back the rubber grommet around
the cable to find a way in but without success. It was suggested to me that if I got a realignment tool I could open the plug by turning the tool past its stop in an anti clockwise direction. I've tried that without success. I appreciate there are various
different types of 13 pin plugs but if anyone can suggest a way I might get into an apparently sealed unit like mine I'd be vary grateful.
