French Caravan sites near towns/villages

My husband and I are in our seventies and I am disabled. Does anyone know of any French caravan sites that are within walking distance of villages/towns?  Most of the sites seem to emphasise physical activities! But we cannot do much except a short walk
to a cafe etc
