Awning size

I have a swift conqueror 580 sal 2004. I have just bought a sunncamp 390 ultima which when I've looked says height 235-250. When I've checked it says my caravan is 270 ! I have seen similar caravans with this awning on but I obviously don't want to try and
put it up only to find that it doesn't fit. Could anyone help ??? Or has someone got a caravan of a similar height with this awning.
