Italia in October

We are travelling to Italy in October in a camper van, it will be our first trip to Italy and we shall be starting in the Dolomites and heading down the east coast via Trieste.

Do any members know of good campsites in that area and a decent stop for going and coming back possibly in Switzerland, we are both of a 'mature' age and will have our equally mature dog with us. The quieter campsites would suit us best!

Probably crossing via Calais
