Taking the Land Yacht Abroad !

Hi , I am thinking of doing abroad this year instead of the usual trip down the M5 !  I would love to take the family and caravan to Spain or at least France to get some sun! I think in the case of Spain the ferry would be more appealing as I would
have only 2 weeks. anyone got any tips? Or even a fantastic site to recommend beachside that good for two small kids?  Am I asking too much????
