Camping Cheques still can't be purchased on their
I have just checked to new Continental Caravanning Brochure (shouldn't that be called Continental Touring, or are we ignoring motorhomers)
Reading through this rather lovely expensively produced book it is not very clear there is a restriction on the purchase of Camping Cheques, you have to go to the website to find this information. Camping Cheques through the Club are still only available a
part of a package. One would have hoped that one positive from the Club's purchase of Alan Rogers would be that Camping Cheques could be sold on their own at face value? It would be interesting to have an update from the Club why this situation persists. As
it happens with the sterling/euro rate as it is, it works out £2 a cheque (downloaded onto a Silver or Gold Card) cheaper than buying them from the French Camping Cheque site than buying in the UK.
