K, TDA and Rocky have said it all. Again and again you use these tiresome tactics. For the record, I reported your post earlier as it is in contravention of Rochelle's post yesterday.

    Good OP HD,

As a club site warden I would love to partake more on here, giving information etc, and have a bit of banter, I must admit some of the warden bashing posts are very entertaining but, I've been on the receiving end of personal insults, with no apology and
it's has made me, and other wardens I might add, very reluctant to join in. A shame really as there's times on varying threads I'd love to give a wardens perspective, but hey, that's life on CT I guess.

It is life on CT JK but it shouldn't beFrown. There are quite a few folk who'd like to participate more I'm guessing they don't for the very
reason you & your colleagues don't.

JK, it's a pity that wardens don't post more on CT but i can understand some of the constraints you and other wardens can be under

I think we should have a section called "Ask a warden"

As is always the case in life its the few that spoil things for the many!!Yell. Use left and right arrows to navigate.
From my view it is either one of two things. 1. they are being intentionally argumenatative or 2. They do not realise their posts could be offensive to people. i know which one i am favouringSealed. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

Humour doesn't always travel well. Something written with a smile on the lips and a twinkle in the eye can mean something completely different to a po-faced reader and some folk love to be offended.

We do have a social media policy to adhere to which is somewhat constricting, that aside it's a great forum with a great wealth af information for our hobby. Ask a warden would be great until the usual baiters spoil it!!

Fully understand your position 'JK' but the 'Ask a Warden' is not a bad idea. I wonder if the Community Manager might consider this as a topic in the 'Ask the Experts' where perhaps a Warden could answer questions live, in that way maybe it could be moderated better Smile ................ and quickly closed for discussion afterwards Laughing

I suspect that's exactly the sort of comment that puts wardens off posting on here, Bob.

I don't think I actually said that, JVB.

In view of the OP, I suggest we don't digress further down the path towards disagreement over an off topic issue - great idea as it is.

Can't argue with that HD, also agree with 'a road to Damascus' with you. Wink

Have i been rude or offensive to anyone??? ,i hope not , or is that not what you mean with that comment, i might be thick ,but i dont get it............Cool

Rude or offensive? Not that I've noticed. Don't worry about it. At least if you've had a damascene experience it hasn't struck you blind otherwise you'd have to join the Blind Dogs for the Guides or is it the other way round?Wink

Quite remarkable that, even on a thread requesting more friendliness and less argument, some people even use this thread to 'have a go' in unison against a fellow member.

    Incredible!

I guess the stumbling block to 'ask the warden' would be the fact that although there are obvious similarities between sites many have specific issues/circumstances peculiar to them. That definitive all encompassing answer/rule on certain topics may therefore not be out there. Such places may need site/pitch specific management and a definite call for that appreciated, by many, wardens discretion.

A very few will not find that helpful in the slightest, mind!
