Ferry Ramps

Hello, we are considering an overseas holiday this year, but have heard some rumours that the ferry ramps at the top on entry and exit are not too kind on motor movers and in some cases have actually torn them off !! we have a Swift Challenger 570 with the
new Powrtouch evolution movers fitted.  Has anyone experience of this happening or advice to offer?
