North Brittany in late September ??

We are considering venturing to France (North Brittany) for a week in late September this year. We have been frequent visitors to France over the years, but never so late in the season.  We are however concerned that the site (la Hallerais – a full facility
Municipal site near St Malo) will be virtually empty and the local area will be ‘closed’!!

The main aim is explore the sights of the area but we do enjoy the company of fellow caravaners on site/ in the restaurant etc. (We once stayed in Normandy early in the season and were the only caravaners on site!)

 Any experiences either of the site at this time of year, or the area out of season in general would be most welcome, to help us make up our minds! Thanks!!
