Innsbruck to Freiberg

Travelling from Camping Natteresee to Camping Belchenblick at Staufen near Freiberg. Can't decide between using Swiss motorway (will have Vignettes) or to use more scenic route via Lake Constance and the A81 then E31 to Freiburg via Titisee. Will be making a night stop somewhere along either route. Would be grateful to hear the pro's and con's of towing along north or south side of Lake Constance and if the road from there to Freiberg is ok for towing as our map is showing a few steep ascents. Also, any campsite recommendations along either route but especially around Lake Constance because this is the route that appeals most? Thanks.
