Lack of Pitch Availability

Because we are both undergoing various medical tests at the moment its very difficult to book too far in advance. I have been watching for late cancellations, particularly at Ferry Meadows as we don't want travel too far. There seems to be availability at
the affiliated campsites but not on Club sites. One of the issues seems to be that many sites don't open until the end of March. Now I appreciate that planning authorities might be the issue in some cases but surely that can't be the case for all late opening
sites? I know that, so far, the weather has been better this year but had Easter been a lot earlier most of these sites would be open! Are the Club planning to open sites a few weeks earlier in future?
