Bilbao to Sienna

Can anyone offer any recommendations for sites to stay en route for a trip from Bilbao to Sienna? We'd like to stay close to the coast where possible and travel maybe 150-200 miles per day. Many thanks

    Keds, this ought to be in the Overseas section, but I'm sure someone will move it for you.

    What sort of sites do you like, when are you travelling, and are you a couple or a family with children?  All those will impact on the sort of sites people will recommend.  In high season some sites near the coast can be manic, but if you're travelling outside
    peak season they can be quiet and peaceful.
