towball and right towball for caravan

Hi can people please make sure that they have the correct towball on their tow car this is very very important.I unfortunately found out that i had the wrong towball a bit late.The caravan became unhitched luckily though no one else was involved and it did
damage caravan a bit.I was informed after accident that i had incorrect towball which i did not know was not made aware of it until now.Alko hitches need alko towball.
