Towing capabilities of Citroen C4 Picasso

I wish to upgrade my car for towing.Has anyone towed with either a C4 Picasso HDI 1.6 manual or a C4 Picasso HDI 2.00 semi auto? I have been told the 1.6 would be better but I am used to a 2.0 and am not sure.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you
