Busy Italy

For many years now we've travelled via the Italian lakes area to our permanent caravan on the Adriatic coast in early August. The area is always busy at this time of the year but 2016 is very different. All sites around the lakes area appear to be fully
booked and overflowing. If your contemplating visiting the area please pre- book or phone ahead to avoid disappointment and frustration. There are hundreds of French visitors too, something we've rarely seen before. It would appear that the French are anxious
about visiting the Med. Coast and the Germans and Austrians are reluctant to fly to Turkey and the African States in view of recent events.

    I bet there is no one except us on the touring site we stay at at Lake Garda in September. I'll report back with a pic in a couple of weeks!
