Giant dogs in Spain

I'm planning to take my Newfoundland dog to Spain in October and November. I've spoken to Caravan Club staff and looked at information on the Club website but was keen to hear about anyone's experience of taking a giant breed dog to Spain, given that they
seem to have a lot of regulations around dogs. Specifically I'm interested in whether your dog was viewed as a dangerous breed (our dog fits some of the Spanish criteria soley because of her size, but not her temperament). I'm also keen to hear folks' experience
of how easy it is to take your dog on beaches at this time of year. We're planning to be mainly in Andalucia but also the coast south of Valencia.
