Laundry facilities on sites in france

We are going to france for the first time in our camper, I have looked up some sites and the facilities they offer !
Do sites not have laundries ! would that be in the info or do we just find them in towns etc
We are free spirits and dont make our mind up until the day sometimes where we travel. Most of the time can we phone and book on the same day !! or night before
