Wiring a 13 pin socket

My car currently has 12N and 12S sockets but my new caravan, when I get it, will have a 13 pin plug. In the short term I wiill have to use an adapter but would like to change to a single socket on the car - less joins to cause circuit problems. Is it a straight-forward
job to do this myself ? On the face of it it looks as though it should be.
