Truman Combi E - Is this normal ?
I have set the Truma Combi E space and water heater to water 60 degrees and the space heater to kick in if the temperature in the caravan falls below 16 degrees. The fuel is electric, EL1 (1kW?). Everything works as it should do. If I switch to EL2 (2kW?)
for a faster water re-heat after using the shower for example, there is a 'hot' smell from the unit even when the water is back up to temperature and the space heater side of the system is not being required to work. Is this normal? I have only used it on
this EL2 setting a few times. At first I thought it was just because the unit was new and, in fact, I had thought the smell had gone away but yesterday I noticed it again, not that it is difficult to notice. If Truma are watching this thread perhaps they would
like to respond.
