Trip to Sicily

GRASUE

My wife and I (+3 dogs) wish to travel in our motorhome (with small trailer) from the UK to Sicily around September this year.

 

This will be our first long trip away and we are looking at approximately 200/250 miles between night stops at sites which are good for dogs and staying for a week or so in Sicily and would be most grateful to receive guidance, hints,
knowledge, pitfalls  etc from anyone on this proposed trip.
