Warning sign on window

On the windows of our motorhome is a warning sign showing a caravan obviously moving with a vent open and next to it a cross - with the vent closed a tick. the meaning is obvious but the other part of the warnig is not obvious - to me, at least. It shows
a the sun shining and a window with the blind drawn and a cross. The tick is next to the picture of the window with the blind half drawn. The meaning seems to be that you should only have the blind half drawn in full sun. Have I got this right and if so, I
wonder why it should be like that.

with the blind fully closed it can get so hot it distorts the window in strong sunlight. Same with rooflights.

Thanks for that - it makes sense now.

The other sticker, if you have windscreen blinds, suggests that you don't drive with them closed. Really pleased I spotted that one as I may have had an accident!!!

I laugh to myself every time I see that one, PG9. Whatever happened to common sense?
