Aren't we territorial?

Just returned from a lovely week at Camping Le Ch'timi, at Touzac. First of all thanks to Val Da for her instructions  on getting through Rouen the easy way as the bridge is still closed. Very clear.

We had the site to ourselves for a while, then horror of horrors, someone else had the cheek to turn up and parked three pitches away!! Our first unreasonable reaction, " Why do they have to park so close?". 

And yet in high season, we are not bothered at all by having someone on the next pitch!

Are you a bit territorial like this sometimes? Why?
