High Quality - 5 Star Sites in France and Italy

Hi All,,

I am planning a trip through France and into Italy, the trip can take as long as it takes, so no rush.

In the UK - I always stay on 5 Star Sites or Caravan Club Sites with EHU and Hard Standing, and if possible Fresh Water/Waste Water Connections.

My question is....all the sites I look at in Brochures/On-Line all seem a bit "Scruffy" with everyone pitching very close on grass or rough pitches!!

Surely there must be 5 Star Sites in France and Italy (at least equal to Caravan Club Sites), or, do they have lower standards.

 Any help or advise would be appreciated.
