Beware- Swift Warranty Misinformation
Members may like to be warned that the warranty details in Swift's web site are not as they might seem. The web site clearly states that windows are covered as part of the Supersure Warranty, for 3 years for defects not including catches and fittings.
I have just had a middle front window replaced because of a defect involving marks between the two skins of the window at a cost of over £200.00. My warranty claim was rejected by Swift, because the window manufacturer has rejected the claim.
Apparenty that goes for ANY component in their caravans, if the manufacturer rejects a warranty claim such as heaters, pumps etc..
I am told that the manufacturer of Swift's windows will only guarantee them for a year for this type defect so Swift's claim of three-year cover is nonsense.
