Hi BB, sorry for the late reply been a bit busy today. We had thought of going to the site david suggested as its pretty central,  didn't realise it was so far away from towns, we have looked at La Flotte aswell but haven't settled on either as we tend to
wait till we get there and have a look see. We are OK for cycling say 25 miles round trip, would it be better to maybe stay at 2 different locations on Re? as we've never stayed there it will all be new to us, we once cycled over from La Rochelle but didn't
venture to far away from the bridge area (old bikes). We are sailing overnight from Portsmouth to St Malo, but thanks for the advice re Poole. Not sure when we will get to Re as we are thinking of going to ll de Noirmoutier first for a few days. Any advice
always welcomedWink we have a 2012 Bailey Approach 625.
