The need for rules
Because we needed a short notice pitch in Cumbria over Easter to see the grandchildren we stayed at a Holiday Park, near Penrith. No names but it's very large and well known.
Oh dear me how awful. Touring caravans are sited on the only open area for children to play on. A football pitch is adjacent. So with no rules at all about ball games, we were forever fetching balls from under our car and caravan. Dog owners walked their
dogs on site, bicycles and powered scooters raced on the roads and the late night drunkeness was disturbing. There were some rules, but none were enforced. A caravan site from Hell.
So, for those who don't much like CC site rules, or see them as restrictive, the reason for them became obvious over a ruined weekend. We left early.
Good for the Club!
Peter.
