Cassette toilets

I have just started using my motor home and after camping at two sites hooked up to mains electric the cassette toilet makes a noise which stops when the flap on the toilet bowl is opened does anyone have any experience of this thanks Pete and jan

    Do you have SOG fitted? If so is the valve/blade not fully shut so the fan is running?

    Thank you all for your support I do have a sog fitted I will look at the system again this week end . Pete.
