Fridge on gas problems

Has anyone any idea's after using my Thetford fridge on gas whilst rallying over Easter,why it would keep extinguishing the flame after say an hour or two.It would easily relit only to fail again later.The time periods between failings did increase over
the BH weekend and It actually did not fail once on the last day of the holiday.
