Bluetooth handsfree with speaker

Has anyone experience of a bluetooth handsfree set up with  loudspeaker for a motorhome with moderate ambient noise? There are a number available, but I am not sure that they can be heard over the noise of the van while travelling. I cannot use an ear dongle
due to my hearing aids!
