Driving to Denmark.

We are going to Denmark in September with our motorhome for a cycle race. Amateur World Championships.

I was surprised to find that there are no ferries to Denmark. That leaves us with a long drive through Germany from Rotterdam. I was wondering if anybody had any advice about routes or stopovers on the way.
