Poole to Cherbourg

Were looking at a few options on which port to go from and going to travel down to the La Rochelle area, if we use the Poole to Cherbourg crossing can anyone recommend an Aire or two. We normally go for just under three weeks and in that time we usually use two sites from the CC continental caravanning book, this time we may only have one week on a site near La Rochelle the rest of the stays are planned to be on Aires.

Were not planning to use any tolls to get down there.
