What's happened to all the 5 mph signs?
I have just returned from a weekend at the CC Cirencester Site only to find that all the 5 mph (and reminders around the site) have been removed. In addition all the one-way signage has also been removed (except arrows on the road which are next to useless).
I asked at reception and was informed that the Chief Executive had issued a new directive to remove these signs. Well Mr Chief Executive if this is the case then I think you have got this wrong!
You should have been there on Friday afternoon/evening when the masses started to arrive only to see members travelling around the site travelling at well over the speed limit - in fact I would say nearly 30 mph in some cases, and travelling in the wrong
direction. Luckily there were very few children on bikes and scooters enjoying themselves, so there was no accident on this occasion.
This is an accident waiting to happen I think?
