Netherlands in August

Hi all, this is my first time on the discussion boards, hope I am in the right place!

I am going to the Netherlands with my family (our first trip abroad with our caravan, gulp!) my husband is staying with us for the first two weeks so will do most of the driving.  The children and I are then staying on for another two weeks so will be travelling
on my own - any tips and advice?

We are staying at Wassanar and Appeldorn.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
