First time overseas touring next week

Well fist trip of the year with the new car and the Better half springs it on me she fancy’s France,As we have never been before im now going thru the check lists and away to start preping the car and van.

Were traveling with 2 adults and 2 kids 16 and 8.

 

But as we have never been before we decided to just stay close to the ferry port for 4-5 days and see how it all goes.

First thing is has anyone been here before?

Second what other recommendations for this area, and traveling in France

 

Any advice is very welcomed
