Mosel area of Germany

Hi,

We are hoping to travel to Germany this summer with our teenage son but unfortunately are restricted to 4 nights before returning to Paris. This is our first overseas trip so any recommendations for a pet and teenager friendly site near Trier or on the French
border would be greatly appreciated. As we are relying on our son as our sole German speaker (eek) sites with English spoken would be welcomed.
