Removing cushions!!

Hi, still kinda new to caravanning, but can you tell me in between using your van in the spring and summer months do you pull up all your cushions etc like you do in the winter, moving them away from the sides of the van? In winter we removed our cushions/seating
completely and stored them at home. Our van is in covered storage. The van next to ours bundles the cushions in the middle of the van every time they come back from using it! Is this the done thing?
