Help wanted with loan of POL thread tap please

As a matter of interest, does anyone have a tap that will fit the equivalent of the POL left hand thread that I might borrow? I have had one of my lites replaced as part of the recall but when I came to use it I found that the thread was slightly damaged as
if a previous user had cross threaded it. The supplier has no replacement stock and I don't want to risk my connector. I'm sure a run down with either a tap or metal equivalent thread would sort it out. Thank you. I'll happily pick up and return or pay postage
