Pre-Paid Currency Card for France

I am going to france in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to sort out the money situ! Dont want to take a lot of cash but also dont want to use my credit card the whole time. Has anyone ever used the Ukash Prepaid Card? It looks quite good but not sure about
using in petrol stations/tolls. I've noticed that people have had problems with petrol stations using the FairFX and CaxtonFX cards. All I want is a stress free trip and the thought of cards not working freaks me out!!

Any help or advice would be greatly received!
