Mastic in awning rail

Bought a GT 65 Verona and couldnt get awning in rail, tried both ways and it always got fast where 2 parts of trim where absolutely rammed full with mastic.

Then I looked from the skylight and and the amount of mastic around the TV aerial is horrendous and a complete mess.

Ive emailed dickinsons where I bought it just incase I have any problems further down the line due to water ingress.

Is it normal for a brand new to have that much mastic on it ?
