Bailey caravan first service - who can do it?
Our Bailey caravan is due its first service. The supplying dealer is adamant that they have to perform the first service. The Caravan Club, the C&CC, and the NCC have collaborated to support the NCC approved workshop scheme which states on the website, "The
AWS scheme is supported by all major manufacturers, so whether you have an Adria, Bailey, Coachman, Elddis, Lunar, Swift, Airstream or Dethleffs vehicle (or others) there will be an
Approved Workshop near you
able to service it."
This seems to be at odds with the supplying dealer. I contacted the Caravan Club's technical expert who could not advise either way. Bailey can only be contacted by e-mail - no luck thus far.
So its over to our knowledgeable membership. If you have had a Bailey since new - what was your experience? did you use the supplying dealer or an NCC approved workshop? Did you have any subsequent issues with the warranty being honoured?
Many thanks
Dave
